Huawei Launches Fastest Phone Chip
Huawei is aiming to make use of features powered by artificial intelligence like instant or quick image recognition. The company hopes to win over major competitors such as Apple and Samsung as it is all set to introduce its brand-new flagship mobile phone in October next month, a high-level executive disclosed the news on Saturday, 2nd September 2017. Chief executive of the Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company- Huawei, Richard Yu, unveiled an impressive new chip for mobile phones on Saturday. The company is betting on the chip for its forth coming flagship mobile phone model, namely Mate 10, as well as other high-end mobile phones that are expected to result in reduced power consumption and faster processing.
Huawei has planned to unveil the phone model Mate 10 and including its sister mobile phone called the Mate 10 pro, on 16th of October 2017 in Munich, Yu confirmed. He did not agree to disclose any further details about its features. The tech blogs have predicted that the phones will probably boast a large, 6-inch-plus wide full screen displays. Yu added saying that AI (Artificial Intelligence) integrated into its new phone chips will help in making the phones more customized and will also anticipate the interests and actions of their users.
In an example, he mentioned that Artificial Intelligence can conveniently acknowledge voice commands, enable real-time and accurate language translation, as well as take due advantage of augmented reality, which overlaps videos, real-world images, graphics, sounds, and texts users view and experience on their screens. Yu strongly believes the innovative Kirin 970 phone chip’s low power and speed can be translated into advanced features that can give the phone an edge over the already prominent Apple iPhone 8 series, which is ready to be launched on 12th of September 2017 this year, and Samsung’s wide array of leading phones announced earlier this year. Huawei stands at the third position as a dominant smartphone manufacturer after Apple and Samsung.
