ThinkPad X1 Carbon is the Best Business Laptop
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is one of the best business laptops, according to a report published on March 12, 2018.
The sixth generation of these laptops weigh 2.5 pounds and is 16 millimeters thick. When compared to the XPS 13, this is lighter in weight. The sturdy carbon-fiber case and soft-touch coating are now available in X1 Carbon. There are no changes in design apart from some branding tweaks. The touchscreen option is also brought back to the 14-inch display of X1 Carbon, which was not available in the last generation. The screen resolution is low, however, they can switch to HDR option for more resolution. The webcam has a physical shutter for users who are privacy conscious. It also has a secure fingerprint reader and two far-field array microphones.
The features with respect to connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 3–compatible USB-C ports, which can be used for charging laptop, two USB Type A connections, and an HDMI port. The laptop also has micro-SIM and micro-SD card slots. The price of ThinkPad X1 Carbon, which has a Core i5 8th-generation processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB M.2 SSD, starts from US$ 1,519. When compared to other ultraportable laptops, these are expensive.
Although ThinkPad Carbon X1 does not have many changes over last year’s model, they have added many upgrades to keep up with the competition. To see the best features of this model such as HDR display, the user will have to go beyond the entry level model. This laptop remains the most refined and best business laptop.
