The management service organization offers a wide array of administrative and supportive services that comprise of supply chain, billing, claims, marketing, human resources, information services, business development, clinical staffing and operation support, finance, facilities management, and contracting to twenty seven clinical sites throughout the Inland Empire region in Southern California.
It offers its services to small, medium, as well as large clinical and physician practice groups. EPIC’s clientele comprises of over one thousand and three hundred employees and three hundred physicians.
EPIC has also achieved a leading record of managing and developing supreme quality healthcare services for all their clients. Its services are making it possible for many doctors to concentrate on the health of their patients as they benefit from the company’s operating and administrative strength.
EPIC has implemented automated scanners to improve supply replenishment. This initiative has proved highly beneficial as the system enables the storeroom of barcoded inventory to be conveniently managed and categorized. EPIC uses the Opticon Scanner system combining it with McKession Medical Surgical digital supply management platform that allows the company to order and replenish their supplies in a completely automated manner. The barcode system and the scanner are interfaced directly with a virtual requisition software platform. Earlier, the clinicians and nurses had to do a lot of paperwork to place orders and to restock all medical supplies in their storeroom. This is also helping the organization to document all sorts of medical and non-medical products in a computerized system for enhanced storage and data backup.
