Full-face SV2 Snorkel Avoids Foggy Vision Underwater
Wildhorn Outfitters developed the second iteration of its Seaview 180 full-face snorkel mask, as announced by the company on March 16, 2018.
The company designed the new snorkel mask with a wide field of vision. The full-face mask has an action camera mount and two separate breathing chambers to reduce fogging and allowing for easy breathing.
The new design resembles the original Seaview 180, however, the new one covers the entire face. Its large lens is designed to provide a 180-degree view of the seascape, and separates the breathing chambers from the eye area, to prevent fogging.
It has a durable silicone seal around the face area and drains out any water that accidently slips into the spaces. The tube is arched to provide an optimal surface breathing angle, employing the Flowtech System, air is cycled through the mask more efficiently.
The company is planning to launch this product by July 2018, and is currently looking for funding for commercialization from several other companies.
